So ONsemble was invited to be the first orchestra to perform in the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay:
and they invited us to visit the Gardens before the performance.

There's really no point describing what visiting the Gardens felt like. The only thing I could think of was how much Popo would have enjoyed this place. Hope she managed to see it through my eyes somehow... Really miss her...

We were told that there are hundreds of pipes passing cold water through the floors to keep the temperature cool. Those of us who were in flip flops quickly tested the floor with our bare feet and boy it was cold!
This eagle is actually made from the dead roots of a many-hundred year old Lychee tree:
