Paradise Dynasty @ Paradigm Mall

The entire family headed to Paradigm Mall because mom highly recommended this place - Paradise Dynasty.

I didn't get to take pics of the interior, so I'll just start with the food:

This was good, but very spicy:

Flavored Xiao Long Bao:

Vege:

AWESOME NOODLES!!!

Mom's dessert:

Cream puffs:

Mochi:

Fried Rice:

Price: 8/10. Good food at reasonable prices.
Food: 8/10. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Verdict: Definitely will make return visits!

The Loaf @ Pavilion

James and I were on one of our random outings (I'm reluctant to call them "dates" - too cheesy), and decided to try out...

 The Loaf!

They have a smaller confectionary downstairs, but we were hungry:

On the menu:

Orange Juice:

Chicken Curry, Toast and Egg (with Coffee or Tea) Set:

James' huge burger:

Now where do I start??

Price: 8/10. It's well worth what you're paying for. The serving is HUGE! If you eat like a bird then I suggest you share a main dish with another bird-like eater. XD
Food: 8/10. Scrumptious! The curry was flavorsome (a wee bit heavy for me personally), the toast divine and the eggs boiled just right.
Verdict: Will definitely make a return visit!

Monte's Restaurant and Wine Bar @ Bangsar VIllage

It was another one of our all girls outing - mom, sis and I.

Monte's:

Bread on the house:

Nachos:

I'm not really a nachos kinda person, but this was pretty good.

Latte:

I've had better.

Chicken Chop:

Yes, very unadventurous. But chicken chop is something I always fall back on when I don't know what to order. Cause well, how can you go wrong with chicken??

Chicken with some berry sauce:

Chicken Chop with mushroom sauce and Herbal Rice:

The sis ordered this and it was awesome!! LOVED the rice it was so fragrant I could eat it alone. LOL

Price: 6/10. It IS a little on the steep side (average about RM20++ per dish) for what you're getting.
Food: 7/10. The sauces did a good job on the meat but the texture could be less... flaky? Thumbs up for the herbal rice though!
Verdict: Will only go there when I feel like spending more. LOL!

SUmmer Getaway 2012 (FINAL) - Last Day in KK

I woke up feeling a bit depressed cause the rest of the day involved going back down to the city heat (and facing reality). But it had been an awesome couple of days, and we were talking about going back there again next summer!

How could we bear to leave this place?

Mount Kinabalu in the morning:

Walking around:

Mount Kinabalu View:

How picturesque can it get?

We headed back down for lunch:

And chilled out at a beach:

Dropped by Charmaine's house to get a few things, and took a picture of these interesting looking footwear:

Her garden:

We checked in, then raced to a nearby hotel to catch the sunset:

Beautiful:

It looked much better in real life. This was the best my iPhone could do so... hahahaha. I'll be investing in a decent camera soon though, fingers crossed!

James and I arrived back in KL feeling awesome about the trip but a little sad that it ended so soon...

Kota Kinabalu, we will come AGAIN!!!!

and maybe conquer Mount Kinabalu in the process. XD
