Just when I think everything is going right, everything seems to go wrong.

Why does it seem that there's always someone who wants to dig in the fact that my life sucks?

I feel like my world has crumbled in one day.

Is feeling happy and contented a sin?

It's as if my nasty schedule isn't enough, someone insists on giving me emotional problems as well. Feels like I'm never meant to be happy for long periods of time. Something always HAS to come and royally mess everything up.

People should invent numbing pills. Then maybe I won't feel as if I'm having multiple heart attacks.

Well, for whoever that wishes me miserable, congratulations! You got your wish.

I'm supposed to be practicing but I can't concentrate, my wrist and arm hurts from 6 hours of orchestra rehearsals the whole day, and...

Hopefully, this is all just PMS.

On the bright side, the family's coming to visit me this coming Thursday. =)

( just to save myself from being poked by his cello pin >< )

In all the excitement I'm sure you'll understand I heart them all the same.

Though I must admit to you guys, that despite all the protests, I really do love that hip shot of me - Tarrant really did do a great job with what I got.

Guan Yu provided such great background music for Tarrant to bring out his full artistic potential. nyahahha =D without her, he wouldnt be able to produce such fabulousssssZZZ picturezz.

me is hungry.

It's been a great couple of days. =) Let loose a little and went out with James for the first time in a very long while.

We first headed to IKEA for a very very late lunch (we both woke up very late).

What I had:

What he had:
Chicken Briyani *yumm~*

What we shared:
Chocolate Mousse

Apple Cake (with cinnamon)

We then proceeded to look around in IKEA, and I eventually got this:

Our "outing" was followed by a trip to Queensway Shopping Centre cause I had to get a book photostat-ed for Souptel. O_O We headed to Vivo after that, bought movie tickets to this movie:

I didn't fancy the movie much, to be honest... too much blood and gore (and nudity *rolls eyes*)

Anyways, we headed back to PGP for Ramyun noodles (dinner, since our lunch was so late and filling) and cappuccino! Whilst doing our Singapore Studies project, of course. =D Oh, and watched a great game of soccer as well. Arsenal-ManCity, the former won 3-0. Great end to a great day. =)))

Well, I thought the awesome-ness of the week would have ended there, but we somehow landed in here on Sunday evening!!! :

James and I shared this:
Hawaiian with cheesy lava crust! *drool*

Tarrant joined us as well, and he got infuriated with James' quiet-ness, but the latter was doing it on purpose so... =P It was great catching up though... Gonna have a "photo-shoot" with him this Wednesday with Guan Yu. =D

Right. I gotta go now...

P/S: I still miss the family... *sigh*

Why do people jump to conclusions?

Why do people make assumptions?

Why do people remain oblivious to reality?

Why do people live in that tiny bubble where they're right and everyone else is wrong?

It's time to do some self-reflection people.

It's human to jump to conclusions, I give you that. But jump to conclusion then make accusations before clarifying and checking your facts? In Critical Thinking, we're being taught that we should always monitor how we think and act. Yeah sure, go ahead and jump to conclusions, but don't make them public, cause in case you're wrong, it's just gonna make you look REAL bad.

You assume, I assume, everybody assumes. Assumptions are every bit a part of our lives as oxygen. It just depends on if you're smart enough to keep those assumptions to yourselves. I must have posted at least 4 posts on people assuming things before but somehow they never get tired of it. I stress again, if you assumed the right thing, I salute you. But assumptions are usually formed with a biased frame of mind, so do us all a favor and stop making asses of yourselves.

When someone says something about you, there's usually some basis behind it. People don't cook up random statements about you and pass them around as rumors (unless they're complete idiots with no life). Like I mentioned before, there's a little devil living in each of us called "self-denial" and we have to learn to keep that devil in check. So before you go on the defensive, have a long thought with regards to your behavior THEN decide if that person was right or wrong. Of course, there are people who make up stories for the fun of it; but not everyone is like that. Think about it.

Or you'll eventually look like this:

I used to belong to the category of people who thought "I'm right, you all are wrong". Well, let me tell you, it's just like having an obese person say "I'm not fat, you're all anorexic!" Wake up, grow up. Don't wait till all your friends have deserted you THEN realize you've not been very nice, by then it might be too late.

Just for the record, I never think myself as better than anyone. Quite on the contrary, I'm a black hole of flaws and imperfections. I'm insecure from the top of my head to the tip of my toes. My self confidence with regards to playing the violin is less than nil. I don't parade my thoughts to everyone who will listen, only maybe to my family and James/Guan Yu.

*The above is directed at no one in particular, just my honest opinions.*

Misinterpretations + misunderstanding = misery

Happens all too often ay?

It's the mom's birthday today. Called home this morning to wish her, and turns out that she's was with my grandma at the hospital to get some bone scan reports. Lol.

Random much? -_-"

This marks the 2nd year where I'm not home to celebrate my family members' birthdays with them. *sigh*

Can't wait to see them again in November. Wanna Skype with them but...

Hey my brother's online!!!!

Whoops. Hehe. Just got off Skype-ing with the siblings. Parents and the aunt went out, so didn't manage to talk to them .*mumblegrumble* The sis was telling me about her PMR exams so far, and the bro told me about how he included part of Gabriel Iglesias' stand up jokes into his english essay and realized too late that it probably wasn't a very good idea. #$%^&*!!!

I miss home.

Anyways, I should go to sleep now. Have to wake up early tomorrow cause I've got class at 10am. Hope to grab breakfast from "Yakun" (ICE CREAM TOAST!!!) before heading to YST.

Nights people!

I'm a pretty happy girl after all. =)
