Current Favourite Phrase...

or punch-line, or whatever you wanna call it.

Got this from "swan Princess" actually, call me lame but I found it pretty funny, and I do plan on using it on any of my guyfriends who (most of which) are clueless about girls and their whims and fancies. =P

"You should write a book, on how to offend women in five syllables, or less."

Yes, I've been THAT bored. Well, it's only because I haven't got exams to study for anymore, and have been doing nothing productive apart from daily 6-hour practices. And watching Brian Joo's funny antics on "Loveletter". =)

Maybe that's what's driving me insane. O_o

I meant the practice! =)

Not Brian, though I think fan-girling over him MIGHT play a part.

Go check it/him out (if you, like me, are abominably free) he's interviewed  people like Mariah Carey and Ne-yo, sings like an angel (to me at least), dances well, speaks English FLUENTLY and has an incredible sense of humour.

Slipping Kneecap??

My knee's starting to hurt again... It's happened a few times already, only I panicked today because I felt it (my kneecap) slipping while I was walking back home from Claris. O_o

Imagine if it DID slip then and I had to hop the remainder of the way home.

That would have been a really idiotic sight.

Not to mention painful.

It's always my left knee that hurts. Always the left kneecap that dislocates. Mom reckons I should get it checked. Dad, as usual, thinks it's nothing serious. My sis, who thinks herself a miracle worker of some sort, say her suggestions are all I need (just because the one time she suggested I bang my knees together and it actually DID stop hurting after that). O_o

Anyways, my sis'd be wanting to use the comp to blog or whatever nonsense it is that she does. =)

LOVEEEE Brian Joo =D

Of All Times...

To fall sick.

Yes, I've got a mild cold and a slight cough. And occasional headaches to boot.

No, it's not the effing swine flu that's plaguing our nation. O_o

My mom and I were getting a little paranoid when I first started sneezing. But since there is no fever or body aches, it's just the normal flu-cough syndrome. I suppose it's due to the lack of sleep and proper meals that I'm ill now. Been sleeping at no earlier than 2a.m. and waking up at 9a.m. or so...

I just realised that I've been blogging about nothing apart from new videos/songs. Well, since exams are over and, provided you want to be bored to death with my daily practice routines, I've really, got nothing to blog about.

As I've mentioned earlier, there's an event on the 4th of July at the Heritage Mansion. Details, I've posted up in one of my earlier posts. Let me know if any of you are interested.

Darn, I haven't even found a dress for it yet.

This video actually made me cry. O_o

I probably wouldn't have if I was watching with say... my sis, but I was alone in the middle of the night so... Ehehehh =P

May be going out with my brother later. Dunno. Depends if my parents are alright with it since he hasn't completed his Geo project yet. It's nothing for me, just that HE is dying to get his hands on whatever it is he wants me to get for him since I promised him I'd get him something as a birthday present before I leave.

We can always wait till next week.

And I'm planning to re-watch "Over The Rainbow". I've watched it before, but that was BEFORE I knew Hwanhee's from FTTS. =P

I tell you, his voice is just... *swoons*

Okay so maybe I should leave the girly stuff to the girly girls. O_o

On a brighter note, I'm done with A Levels! Gonna paint the town RED.

Taking off the darn braces on the 9th, getting them retainers on the 11th, one day before I leave.

Come to think of it, in less than 4 weeks I'd be venturing into a whole new experience, a whole new world... And it still hasn't hit me yet. I left college yesterday night with a little less than hard feelings, glancing briefly back at the college building, knowing that I would never set foot there again, remembering what joys and pains it gave me, the new people I was glad to/should never have met...

Plan to go visit Sri Aman before I leave for Singapore. I haven't been back there since Datin's farewell, which was almost 2 years ago...

Hope my teachers are still around larr.

*Dang... didn't that sound SO Malaysian?*

Can't wait for to be FINALLY over.

Can't wait to go shopping!

Can't wait for Singapore~

Can't wait to meet new people.

Can't wait to start classes...

But first, I gotta start packing. O_o

Now what should I chuck into the suitcase?

Because I Dont Love You - Brian Joo

I abso-freaking-lutely LOVE this song! =D

Picture This

A picture paints a thousand words,
Thoughts were given more than was worth

Of rocks and birds, waterfalls and greenery,
What should have been painted was purgatory

A squirrel leaps past, its movement swift,
But the eagle is swifter and gives it a lift

Gullible squirrel agreed without knowing,
The eagle did not intend it remain living

However, smart the squirrel was,
It escaped from the eagle's claws

All that said and nothing done,
My only regret is revenge, I have none

Often in dreams I have dreamt of it though,
Of plummeling thou til nothing left but dough

In other dreams I am the devil in rage,
Stopping at nothing til thou in thy grave

Thou hast screamed when I drew mine scythe,
I said "shut up, or I'll end thy life"

Nine stanzas of my hate I have writ,
represents Nine times of which my anger was lit

If thou hath Nine lives, thou would not survive,
But thou art not a cat, thus one strike will suffice

Finally, I'm posting this up. Supposed to do it months ago but obviously, I haven't got around doing it till now. I just finished 2 gruelling hours of Law-related mugging, so I feeling pretty vengeful towards the subject at the moment. =)

Though of course, that's not what/who I was thinking when I wrote the (albeit childish and amateur) poem. XD

Wee Blog Post

I should really get cracking on my checklist, as my mom constantly reminds me, but it just so happens that I am an insanely, unrealistically lazy procrastinator, I've only JUST written down (vaguely) what I need to buy/pack before I leave less than 4 weeks from now.

Note: Only WRITTEN down.

Knowing me, I'd probably only start REALLY packing 2 weeks before I leave, and finally FINISH the night before I leave, and spend 3 hours before putting everything into the car running around the house like a crazy idiot, panicking as if my nose is on the verge of falling off.

I thank the stars that most of what I need, I alr
eady have but... there's still quite an amount left for me to do/buy.

Before and After =)

And After...
Yes... It's DARN short.

But I like it. So sue me =D

But dang... I look like I'm 12 or something. That's the same hair style I had back in Standard 6, just with a more stylish fringe. O_o

My mom still tried selling the whole bob-cut idea to me.

I didn't buy it. =P

For The Love Of... My Life?

They're fantastic, I tell you.

Here's one of them singing a Korean song. Pronunciation's not that good (excusable) but the arrangement is... *sighs*

Enjoy =)

And another Phillipines acapella group singing "Man In The Mirror"

Will update some other time =)

Angels and Demons

The movie is a must-watch...

But the book is TO-DIE-FOR!

I absolutely couldn't put the darn book down! I only started reading it yesterday, and managed to finish it at 4a.m. this morning.

Ssh... Don't tell my mom. I'm supposed to be studying for my A Levels, but frankly speaking, I couldn't care less about it. Ehehe...

Gte the book, like... seriously. Especially if you're into the science/religion/history stuff... I'm not a huge fan of history myself, but the way the author (Dan Brown) wrote the book was SO captivating that I plan to get a book on Roman history after my exams!

Anyways, I have yet to practice today so... I'll leave the ranting to a less obligation-filled day.

I'm Back

I hate the end of camps. It starts off so nicely, with everyone looking forward to spending time together and laughing away at the weirdest things in existance; but yet, as fate would have it, time flies by so fast that the past week barely felt like 2 days.

Ordinarily, I would be typing out an insanely long post describing in detail what I was up to during camp (and exams in-between), but since I hardly slept 3 hours last night/this morning, I do not feel like dwelling into my memory banks cause quite frankly speaking, I might get them all mudled up.

Perhaps one would wonder why I hardly slept at all. Well, for one thing, we were all hyped up that camp was ending soon so we decided that we weren't going to sleep- because the rehearsal today started only at 6pm, so we could sleep in. =)

In the end, we got tired out trying to keep ourselves entertained, so we eventually got a "sleeping=plan" worked out and tucked into Jia Rong's blankets at around 5am. It was Jebat and Lu Ee on the floor, David on the couch, Andrew on the chair, Kah Yan, Amelia, James and I on the bed. It would have been fine... only that I'm a light sleeper so I need absolute silence or I won't fall asleep.

David swore in his sleep, which woke me up.

James fidgets in his sleep, which also woke me up.

Jebat woke up in the middle of the night, which too, woke me up.

I was in an excruciatingly uncomfortable position the whole night, so that kept me awake.

I pity James though, the poor guy was literally falling of the bed, and he didn't have enough blanket to cover him. (Kah Yan was hogging the most of it, I think) It might have been my hallucination, but I think he was shivering at one point.

Which also woke me up.

Oh,  then it was followed by err... someone (I don't reveal names incase the person(s) concerned don't remember it) clutching my shoulders a number of times, and Amelia waking up.

Seriously, I woke up so many times that I eventually gave up trying to fall asleep and watched the sunrise, whilst worrying that I wouldn't have enough energy for tonight's concert. O_o

Anyways, my worries didn't amount to much. We had lunch, which perked me up a little, hung around until it was time to leave for KLCC, then had dinner at Chilli's. The drink may have helped a little, so I managed to stay focussed during the one-and-a-half hour Tutti session from 6-7.30pm, plus have enough adrenalin reserved for the last movement of Beethoven's 5th.

You know, time flew by so fast that I don't even remember playing the Faure, nor the Kodaly tonight. I think I'm just too tired. I need my sleep.

Tribal outing tomorrow- picnic. I want to bring something... But what??

Pictures taken during camp will be up soon.

Of Effing Exams and Stress That Comes Along With It

I bloody hate exams. Especially when I don't see a need for me to stress myself up over it. But no... I still gotta slave my butt off because my parents are still expecting good grades from me.

Which, in turn, is the very reason for my staying up until  4a.m. this morning to complete my notes for Unit 5 of Economics

Which, is also the reason I woke up late this afternoon

Which, resulted in my skipping breakfast

Which, (I think) caused my sugar level to drop

So much so that after I studied in the afternoon and took a nap in the evening, I woke up with a splitting headache matched with dizziness and heart palpitations

For those who are not aware, those are the very symptoms of vomitting

I felt a little better after that, and went right back to studying.

I'm still 100% sure I'll eff-up unit 5 though. I'm alright with unit 4 cause well, the topics in there aren't very far off from the usual logic.

I big boss, I control market prices, ya'll small fries can't compete with ma lower cost of production.

Speaking of which, I haven't even covered up the whole of unit 5 yet. I'm only blogging now because I need a break from staring at the darn theories and graphs before I go mad.

And I still cannot understand why I have to be quarantined until EIGHT o'clock tomorrow evening when my exam actually finishes by 4.30pm. Imagine the host of other things I could be doing. Attending camp, for example. I'm sure I'm missing out on a lot of fun, especially at night when rehearsals are over. And my sympathies lie with Eben, who will have to bear with the jabs to his face courtesy of a certain bestfriend of mine who can't sit straight during practice, until my return tomorrow night.

Plus, I would be missing out on the in-camp Chamber recital tomorrow evening.

Ah... Isn't life tragic?

I think I'll be bringing along my camera with me to camp tomorrow night. Wanna take plenty of group pictures after our performance on Sunday night. We're playing Strauss, Kodaly, Faure and Beethoven's 5th. =) Interesting repertoire, and though I don't fancy the Kodaly much, I still love playing the piece with the MPYO.

Uni will officially start for me on the 14th of July. I need to brush up on my scales... And my 3rd movement of the Bruch concerto still sounds like crap.

Got some serious shopping to do after exams end.

After which I have less than a month to pack for Singapore.

Red Bull, anyone? =P
